It’s a Green Win for Buy As You View and One Lucky Customer

Bridgend, United Kingdom, June 04, 2011 --(PR.com)-- South Wales based retail and consumer finance company, Buy As You View (BAYV) has announced the winner of its "Win A Car" competition to be Mrs. S. O’Reilly from Aberdare. After entering the competition via text message, Mrs. O’Reilly had long since forgotten about her entry until she received a phone call from BAYV’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Graham Clarke with the fantastic news. Mrs. O’Reilly can expect to receive the car in the next few weeks and as well as being excited about her win; she is also thrilled about owning and driving such an eco-friendly vehicle.

The idea for the competition was born out of BAYV’s recent efforts to "think green" and reduce its carbon footprint. Part of this drive has included a scheme to replace their entire vehicle fleet with eco-friendly vehicles as well as embarking on a PR initiative to encourage other companies with large vehicle fleets to do the same.

Buy As You View have also made investments in other areas to improve efficiency and reduce their carbon footprint including investing in software to help streamline the routes taken by Customer Account Managers and revising their internal energy usage policies.
