Award Winning Golf Pro Rodney Bungartz Joins The Mike Calbot International Golf Studio and Golf Schools at Old Corkscrew Golf Club
Rodney Bungartz has joined The Mike Calbot International Golf Studio and Schools at Old Corkscrew Golf Club as head golf instructor.
Fort Myers, FL, June 04, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Rodney Bungartz, a PGA Teaching Golf Professional with long roots in the Southwest Florida golf community, has joined The Mike Calbot International Golf Studio and Schools at Old Corkscrew Golf Club as head golf instructor. Bungartz will provide private lessons, group lessons, clinics and coaching sessions for both adults and junior players.
Bungartz is a Naples native who has been a part of the local golf scene for more than 20 years. He began golfing at the age of four. As a junior golfer, he competed in the S.W. Florida Junior Golf Association, local and state amateur tournaments, and national events like the Junior World and Future Masters. He then went on to pursue a golf career and played in the German Open and golf tournaments in Austria, Switzerland and Canada.
His previous positions as a teaching professional include Gateway Golf Club, Arrowhead Golf Club, and Pine Trace golf club in Michigan. He previously worked at The Mike Calbot International Golf Studio for several years at two different locations and has known Mike Calbot since he was nine years old. “Mike was one of my early instructors and has been very influential on my game and on my teaching of the game,” says Bungartz. “I’m looking forward to working with him again.”

According to Calbot, Bungartz will be building a family golf instruction program for the Calbot golf studio. “Family golf and junior golf are the fastest growing areas of the sport today. Rodney is going to be a big asset in establishing the most sought after junior programs southwest Florida has to offer.”
