Radiation Oncology Resources Presents the 3rd Annual ROR Plan Challenge at the 36th Annual Meeting of the AAMD
Are you ready to be challenged? Radiation Oncology Resources will be unveiling the results of the 3rd Annual Plan Challenge and will be co-hosting an interactive Contouring Challenge with Standard Imaging at the at the 36th Annual Meeting of the AAMD.
Goshen, IN, June 04, 2011 --(PR.com)-- On June 13, 2011 at the 36th Annual Meeting for the American Association of Medical Dosimetrists, Radiation Oncology Resources will share the results of their third annual Plan Challenge. There will be two sessions at the annual meeting; during the general session, the results of this year’s enhanced challenge process will be shared; and a second, where ROR will host a “town hall meeting” to discuss how the Plan Challenge process can become the catalyst for establishing a continuous improvement process for treatment planning in the industry.
• Plan challenge on demand – for comparing yourself to industry peers
• Documentation of “Best Practices,” for both contouring and planning matched to specific documented plan evaluation criteria
• Discussion and validation of ROR’s Plan Quality Metric scoring tool
• Utilizing an end-to-end challenge process that begins with treatment goals, and includes both contouring and treatment planning evaluation metrics.
During the Exhibit Hall hours, ROR will be collaborating with Standard Imaging to host an interactive Contouring Challenge. A qualitative and quantitative analysis of contours of various structures will be reviewed and evaluated at the AAMD meeting in St. Louis. Plan to visit booths 212, 214, 216 to participate each day. Please plan 15 minutes to contour each day and book your time slot early – there will be a limited amount of slots available.
Winners will be announced each day at the show and prizes will be awarded.
Days 1-3 the winner will receive an iPod 16GB Nano.
The Overall Winner will receive a 32GB iTouch.
