XtraMedium Communications LLC Offers New Media Marketing for Community Development

Chicago Agency Creates Community Based Partnerships for Community Driven Messaging Campaigns

Chicago, IL, June 04, 2011 --(PR.com)-- XtraMedium Communications LLC will manage a series of new media campaigns to support community development in Chicago communities. The company extends its New Media Training partnership with Alexis-Bivens LTD, the 51st Street Business Association, and HOYCE Youth Center. This partnership will now serve as a bridge between brands and local community organizations, ensuring delivery of marketing campaigns driven by relevant concepts from residents and youth in the community.

Each campaign will feature a heavy combination of social media and grassroots outreach.

“We want to help brands help communities through advertising dollars while remaining relevant to the needs of the people.” -Steven C. Philpott CEO XtraMedium Communications LLC.

The first campaign, Violence Stops Here, is a youth driven performance contest featuring videos submitted online and voted on by the community. Sandra Bivens and the 51st Street Business Association have developed a campaign committee.

“The committee is designed to oversee the relevance of the campaign and give people from the community a chance to join in creating the messages that our youth are exposed to.” -Sandra Bivens President 51st Street Business Association.

Administrators from HOYCE will provide valuable insight and outreach regarding "best interests" concerns of the youth through out the campaign.

Violence Stops Here will roll out summer 2011 across Chicago’s Chatham, Englewood, and Grand Boulevard communities.
