Bruce Jacobs is returning to sports talk radio weekdays 1pm-3pm on The Fan AM 1060 effective Monday, June 6, 2011.
Phoenix, AZ, June 06, 2011 --(PR.com)-- On-Air Sports Marketing is proud to announce Bruce Jacobs is returning to sports talk radio weekdays 1pm-3pm on The Fan AM 1060 effective Monday, June 6, 2011.
Jacobs formerly hosted a conservative talk show for seven years on KFYI 550 AM (2002-2009) in Phoenix, which aired Monday through Friday 5-8am. Prior to KFYI, he hosted a morning (1993-98) and afternoon (1999-2002) sports talk show on KFYI sister station XTRA 910 KGME. Additionally, from 2002 to present he has been a weekend host on Fox Sports Radio in Los Angeles.
Jacobs’ career began on Long Island at WNYG 1440 AM in Babylon, NY, where he did drive-time sports, as well as hosting the “Sunday Night Sports-Wrap” program. He then went west to Phoenix where he co-hosted a local sports talk show with Mike Golic, now host of ESPN Radio’s syndicated Mike and Mike in the Morning. Jacobs also was the morning host on Sporting News Radio Chicago and Weekend Host for Fox Sports Radio Los Angeles.
Jacobs is a diehard Mets and Jets fan, and calls himself “The World’s biggest Miami Dolphin and Yankee Hater.” Bruce is also not shy in expressing his opinions on just about anything and everything.
Jacobs most recently was on Sporting News Radio in the evening. He begins Monday, June 6, 2011.
