The ZK range is available in two sizes, the ZK8 catering for sheets of up to 8' x 4' (2.44m x 1.22m) and the ZK10 sheets of up to 10' x 5' (3.25m x 1.625m).

The moving-column ZM range

The Zapkut ZM range is among the world's most compact and competitively priced moving column vertical panel saws. There are three models in the range: the ZM12 handles sheets of up to 8' x 4' (2.5m x 1.25m) the ZM16 sheets of up to 10' x 5' (3.1m x 1.6m) and the ZM21 sheets sized up to approximately 10' x 7' (3.1m x 2.1m).

Thanks to the ZM's moving-column design, there is no need to move the workpiece once it is positioned on the machine. This makes these machines exceedingly compact in operation: they are ideal for use in smaller workshops, or even installing in the back of a van as a mobile cutting platform. The moving-column design also offers significant safety advantages and makes cutting quick and easy.

The ZM's movable material supports facilitate a much more straightforward system of dimensioning along the length of a sheet than that offered by the majority of vertical panel saws. Depth control, plunge and bevel capabilities (to 40mm and 45° respectively) and a mid-way fence further enhance the flexibility of these machines.

As well as natural and man-made timber products, the ZM is suitable for
cutting a wide range of sign making materials, including aluminium sheet, Corex, Foamex, acrylics, polycarbonates, and aluminium composite sheets such as Dibond. A single special blade, developed by Zapkut, caters for all these sign making materials, with a further blade delivering excellent cutting of ply and coated boards.
