Minnesota Sinfonia Performs at Camp Courage

Minneapolis, MN, June 22, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Minnesota Sinfonia will perform their Magic of Music Children’s Concert at Camp Courage this July. While all Sinfonia concerts are open to children, their free-admission Children’s Concerts are particularly fitting. Families are invited to experience great favorites from the movies, the classics and everything in between - all chosen especially for children, and listen to the story of Peter and the Wolf narrated by local singer and actress Kathleen Hardy. This concert is sponsored by the Minnesota State Arts Board.

The program will focus on how we use music to describe magical moments and a wide range of our emotions. Music will be taken from Harry Potter, Peter and the Wolf, and favorites from ragtime, marches, dances and more.

The concert will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 13 at Camp Courage, 8046 83rd St NW, Maple Lake, 55358. Admission as always is free. Audience members should arrive early - all concerts are first-come, first-seated.
