New LaVale Shop Participating in 43rd Annual Heritage Days
Personalways™ looking forward to first year at downtown Cumberland's traditional Summer event.
LaVale, MD, June 09, 2011 --(PR.com)-- As the weather improves and the Summer approaches, the tri-state area welcomes the 43rd Annual Heritage Days festival in Cumberland MD taking place on Washington and Baltimore Streets on Saturday 6/11 from 10 am – 6 pm and Sunday 6/12 from 11 am – 5 pm. While over 100 artisans and food vendors gather in historic downtown Cumberland, recently opened Personalways will be joining the festivities at booth #119 located to the left of the Washington Street Library.
“We are thrilled to be kicking off our Summer by participating in the oldest and most historic festival in Cumberland.” comments co-owner Christina Nolan, “Though we'll be involved in many events across the region this Summer, including various Relay for Life events and a multitude of festivals, the opportunity to participate in our area's heritage celebration is an true honor.”
While explaining why their gift shop is unique, Co-Owner Amanda Sherman explains, “Personalways is not a typical gift shop. Our specialty is personalizing and customizing your gifts and purchases in a way that really cannot be matched. Customers' requests are combined with years of experience and raw talent in order to create items that are overwhelming. Customers continue to be amazed when their expectations are exceeded again and again.”
“We love what we do and it shows. Our customers are so much more than patrons. We don't take that lightly. Each project is handled as if we were designing and printing for our own gift-giving and we always strive to out-do ourselves. Our finished products are vibrant, durable, scratch and fade resistant, t-shirts are soft-to-touch, and above all, creative and classy - one of a kind gifts, that cannot be found anywhere else.” Adds Ms. Nolan.
In 2003, Ms. Nolan established the company taking orders via website and filling them from her home. By keeping up with the latest software and hardware available, and continually seeking unique products, the company finally outgrew its britches. In March of this year, with the added help of Co-Owner, Amanda Sherman, the shop has made its home at 137 National Highway in LaVale.
