A Shot in the Dark Fine Art Photography by Harmony Gerber Premiers New Exhibit at The Rock and Roll Emporium Collector’s Gallery
Huntington Beach, CA, June 09, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Local photographer Harmony Gerber will premier new works of Fine Art Photography entitled, “A Shot in the Dark” from her Photo Grafitti collection Tuesday, June 14, 2011. The opening reception takes place from 5p-9p at Surf City Nights at The Rock and Roll Emporium Collector’s Gallery, 205 Main Street in Huntington Beach, CA 92648.
Raised in Southern California, Harmony Gerber is a photographer who specializes in music & celebrity documentation. Her career spans from 1999 to the present. Constantly working in the music industry for record labels, publications, clubs, websites, agencies & instrument manufacturers, she is best known for her journalistic approach to the world of rock & roll.
Harmony is a girl with a camera, who consistently delivers the "real deal," through her seamless, yet on-point style of photography. Recalling what a guitarist once told her, "I can't show you, but I can play it for you," she employs those words throughout her images. Striving to allow the viewer to feel as if he or she had their own photo pass, she enables each and everyone to be a part of the experience.
“Harmony captures the essence of live performance with her fine art photography,” said Andrew Kirby managing partner of The Rock and Roll Emporium. “We are always looking to promote local artists while maintaining the highest standards within our collection and Harmony’s work certainly hits the mark.”
The Rock and Roll Emporium Collector’s Gallery is a leading resource for Rock and Roll Memorabilia, Guitars and Gifts and is a major attraction for downtown Huntington Beach, CA — Surf City, USA. The store has collected vintage guitars, authentic autographs, fine art, photography, collectibles, apparel and accessories from many of the best-known and respected artists in the world.
