WSI Internet Franchise Announces Its Recently Elected and Re-Elected Advisory Council Members

Toronto, Canada, June 10, 2011 --(PR.com)-- WSI, the world’s #1 Internet franchise, recently completed its election for the company’s Internet Consultant Advisory Council (ICAC). The council consists of 12 WSI franchisees, each representing a specific region to ensure global coverage. Four members of the council completed their terms this year resulting in an election among the franchisee network. All four individuals were re-nominated by their peers to run against 4 other individuals vying to join the council for the first time.

After a competitive race, the votes determined that 3 of the 4 individuals, Doug Schust, Feras Alhlou and Ari Malek would be re-elected to the council representing Canada, North West USA and Central USA respectively. Elected to the council for the first time was Rob Thomas who was voted by his peers to be the new representative of Southern UK, Ireland and Wales.

“Every year, we see strong franchisee participation in the Advisory Council election,” says Ron McArthur, president of WSI. “All nominated candidates have a strong reputation among the franchisee community and would have been a great addition to the council. When reviewing the voting results, we saw that the race was quite close, but in the end Doug, Feras, Ari and Rob outvoted their opposing candidates. As members if the Internet Consultant Advisory Council (ICAC), they will work in conjunction with WSI head office to enhance communication among the WSI network, expand franchisees’ understanding of WSI operational systems and functions and promote franchisee participation in implementing new initiatives within the company. The council interacts with the greater WSI network to gather input, suggestions and initiatives that may positively impact the collective success of WSI franchisees.
