Alabama Mechanical Contractor M&D Mechanical Receives National Platinum STEP Safety Award
Alabama mechanical contractor M&D Mechanical Contractors has been awarded the national STEP Safety Award by the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. M&D Mechanical is one of only 571 ABC members in the nation to receive the platinum designation.
Decatur, AL, June 15, 2011 --(PR.com)-- M&D Mechanical Contractors has been awarded a national platinum STEP Award, and is one of only two North Alabama contractors to receive this designation from the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC) National Environment, Health and Safety Committee. This is the company's sixth consecutive year to receive the platinum status for this safety award.
M&D Mechanical Contractors' last lost time accident was July 26, 2007 and the last recordable incident occurred over 240 days from May. "We have been enjoying a great run in the safety record books, said Bobby Allfrey of M&D Mechanical Contractors.
