AutoCricket.com CEO Wins Man of Year 2011
Jason Brian, CEO of local Palm Beach business wins The Leukemia & Lymphoma Societies 2011 Man of the Year campaign.
West Palm Beach, FL, June 16, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Jason Brian, CEO of AutoCricket.com and philanthropist of JasonBrian.com, was announced as the winner of the 2011 Man and Women of the Year Campaign benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on June 10, 2011 at the Kravis Center in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida.
Jason Brian and his team raised $89k during the 10 week campaign beginning April 1st and ending June 10th , a record amount raised for the male winner of the Palm Beach chapter of LLS. The money was raised in various ways from sending out personal letters to over 600 contacts, online pledges from friends and family made through www.jasonbrian.com, charity events held all over Palm Beach county, including an event held at Saks Fifth Avenue, and generous efforts from business relationships.
Jason was nominated to run for the Man of the Year back in November of 2010, and with little hesitation, accepted the nomination. Charity efforts and community outreach programs are extremely dear to Brian’s heart and this year’s campaign allowed for an opportunity to bring his local company, AutoCricket.com and himself, together to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Brian’s team of employees quickly gained momentum when they met this years Girl of the Year, Abby Alonzo, a twelve-year-old who was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma in November of 2009. “It was her story and the story of many other children who struggle with blood cancer that truly made me want to fight for them by raising funds through this campaign,” states Jason Brian.
Although, the Man and Woman of the Year campaign as come to an end, AutoCricket.com and Jason Brian’s charity efforts have only begun. Jason will continue to provide support to his community through the Habitat for Humanity, Susan G. Komen’s Race for a Cure and other various and charities through his website JasonBrian.com.
