With its ever-growing list of successfully completed projects, Double V chose Honeycomb Creative to develop a new website to showcase the diversity of its project work online.

Established in 1972, Double V Construction Ltd. has built a strong tradition of building excellence within BC's construction industry by working on a diverse range of construction projects. With its ever-growing list of successfully completed projects, Double V chose Honeycomb Creative to develop a new website to showcase the diversity of its project work online.
Through the website's online project gallery, located in the Project Types section, site visitors can view a range of project photos and project descriptions, which Double V has managed—everything from retail/commercial, industrial, institutional and LEED construction projects to sensitive historic restorations.
As an accredited general contractor, Double V spends a great deal of time collecting and distributing project tender information to its approved sub-contractors. The new website was built to streamline this process. Sub-contractors can now log in to the website's password-protected Current Tenders section to conveniently view tender information and download project files.
“Our new website makes it easy for us to share not only completed project information online with our clients, but also allows them to view information about our company and its history,” explained Shane Van Vliet, Double V Construction's President.
The new website was developed by print and web communication firm Honeycomb Creative. As part of the web development project for Double V, Honeycomb Creative incorporated Sitemanager, the firm's custom back-end content management system.
“Sitemanager is a quick and simple way for Double V Construction to manage editable website content and upload files without risk of breaking the new website,” explained Allen Haslinger, Honeycomb Creative's Project Manager. “By regularly updating their website content with new announcements and project information, Double V will, over time, improve its search engine ranking and provide its associates, clients and sub contractors with information they need to forge a strong business relationship.”

Our new website gives us so much more functionality than we ever had before,” said Van Vliet. “We can easily publish new or completed project announcements, upload and share project tender information and even update our completed projects list in-house.
