Automotive-NEXT 2011 is a First for Bal Seal Engineering
Bal Seal Engineering, Inc., a leading global designer and manufacturer of sealing, connecting, conducting and EMI shielding solutions for the automotive industry, is hosting its inaugural exhibit at Japan’s annual Automotive-NEXT trade event from June 15th-17th, 2011 in the Tokyo International Exhibition Center.
Tokyo, Japan, June 17, 2011 --(PR.com)-- During the event, representatives from Bal Seal’s Japanese and European sales offices are meeting with OEMs and engineers to demonstrate how Canted-coil™ spring technology can be applied to enhance the performance of steering, drivetrain, suspension, lighting, power management and other automotive equipment. New application examples that illustrate Bal Seal’s ability to help engineers “push the technology envelope” are also being displayed, the company says.
“We’re exhibiting at this (Automotive-NEXT) event for the first time in 2011, because we feel this is a very exciting and changeable time in the automotive industry,” Bal Seal Territory Manager Kazuyuki Yoshida explains. “New hybrid technology is at the forefront, and the driving public is demanding huge leaps in performance and fuel economy. Now, more than ever, manufacturers and tier suppliers need products and partners to help them advance technology. That’s what we do best.”
The Bal Seal exhibit, located in booth A-021 at the “Tokyo Big Sight,” features samples of Canted-coil™ spring elements in a variety of sizes and surface finishes. The company’s Bal Seal™ spring-energized seals, machined from PTFE and other premium polymers, are also being demonstrated in the exhibit.
