Minor Soul Release First iTunes Single "Where We Belong" on Typhoon Records
Welcome to "Sneaker Rock." English-born Hong Kong-based group Minor Soul today release their first commercial single "Where We Belong" on Typhoon Records. The group is comprised of teenage brothers Jack and Max Wagner, who recorded the single at Downtown Studios in NY with Grammy winner Jason Goldstein mixing. It's an uplifting, intelligent and emotional Pop song that captures the essence of youth while remaining catchy and lyrically relevant. Album to follow.
New York, NY, June 19, 2011 --(PR.com)-- English-born Hong Kong-based group Minor Soul today release their first commercial single "Where We Belong" on Typhoon Records.
Recorded with Grammy Award-winner Jason Goldstein at Downtown Studios in New York, the song will be released first via iTunes, and then become available shortly thereafter via Amazon, Napster, EMusic, Spotify and others.
“‘Where We Belong’ is an uplifting and well crafted pop song about being in a place in time, about being from Hong Kong and about being Young! It’s also catchy as hell!” said Goldstein, who has worked with Beyonce and The Roots.
Minor Soul play a brand of Emotional, Intelligent Pop called "Sneaker Rock" – a nod to the preferred footwear of the band and their legion of fans.

About Minor Soul: The band is made up of two young brothers raised in Hong Kong of English and American parents. Musical stars of an International School where scruffy, sneakers and jeans kids pore through CD bins at the local HMV shop and scour the latest releases on iTunes and Indie music blogs, Jack and Max Wagner grew up in a high-rise overlooking Hong Kong’s storied waterfront, raiding their father’s collection of Rock classics – everything from the Velvet Underground and Bowie to Jeff Buckley.
