Toyota of Greenville Sponsors Larkin’s Rhythm on the River
Greenville, SC, June 19, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Toyota of Greenville is a proud sponsor of Larkin’s Restaurant’s Rhythm on the River in downtown Greenville this summer. Now in its sixth year, Rhythm on the River is the Southeast’s #1 Beach Music concert series and donates a portion of its proceeds to some of Greenville’s most worthy causes.
About Larkin’s Rhythm on the River
Larkin’s Restaurant started hosting the summer music series in 2005. After a successful first year, the restaurant saw the potential to use the series to support the Greenville community. One year later, Rhythm on the River donated over $8,000 to local non-profit organizations through Larkin’s Big Give. The program is committed to the health, education, and experience of Greenville children. The money raised through Larkin’s Big Give and Rhythm on the River supports charities and non-profit groups with those same goals: helping children today, so they can have a brighter tomorrow. Over $300,000 has since been donated through Larkin’s Big Give.
The 2011 musical lineup includes The Band of Oz, Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs, The Swingin’ Medallions, and other well-known, family-friendly beach music bands. Rhythm on the River concerts are held on Thursdays from May 12 through September 8 at the Dow Amphitheater behind the Peace Center. The gates open at 5:45 p.m. and all shows start at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 or $5 depending on the band.
