Dunn Loring, VA, June 19, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Oakseed Ministries International is pleased to announce the winners of the 2011 Essay Contest: Compassion and Child Trafficking. Over 300 essays were submitted by youth from 39 states and 20 different countries. Dr. Edward Bradley, President of Oakseed Ministries International, says of the contest: “The discovery of the great challenges that face the youth of the world is central to the Oakseed essay contest. Many essay writers shared how their eyes were opened to the horror of child trafficking through research for their essay.”
The winners of the age 17 and under category are Courtney Coker of Medford, Oregon in first place, Sarah Marty of West Haven, Connecticut in second place, Kimberly Hanson of Walkoloa, Hawaii with an honorable mention, and Brianna Steirer of Hartland, Wisconsin with an honorable mention.
