SmartTOP Convertible Top Remote Control Module for Renault Megane CC III
The SmartTOP aftermarket convertible top control module offered by Mods4cars will be available for Renault Megane CC III later this year. It allows the top to be opened and closed at the touch of a button while driving slowly and from afar with the factory keycard remote.
Ocean, NJ, June 22, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Before this year’s convertible season is over, the new SmartTOP convertible module kit offered by Mods4cars will be available for the Renault Megane CC III, adding valuable features to the car: The option to open or close the top while driving at slow speeds (up to 40 km/h / ~28mph) as well as one-touch comfort operation maximize top-down use of the car - No more pulling over and holding down the switch is necessary.
"Our product makes it possible to operate the top from afar by simply using the existing factory key card remote," explains PR-Manager Sven Tornow. "No additional remote or changes to the existing remote(s) is necessary," he concludes. On cars that come equipped with the Keycard Handsfree option it is even possible to open and close the top with touch sequences on the door handle.
This SmartTOP module also comes with a range of extra features well-known from other modules in the series: The entire module can be disabled temporarily and uninterrupted opening and closing of the top while starting or stopping the engine are user programmable options. The module is equipped with a standard USB port for easy PC based configuration and free for life online firmware updates.
The kit ships with a custom designed plug-in wiring harness that allows quick and easy installation. Like many other SmartTOP kits, it uses only original factory plugs and connectors and comes in OEM build quality.
Now the advantages of the SmartTOP comfort controller are available to Renault Megane CC III owners as they have been to convertible owners of the following brands: Alfa, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Ferrari, Ford, Infiniti, Mazda, Mercedes, Mini, Nissan, Opel, Peugeot, Porsche, Renault, Volkswagen and Volvo.
The complete kit will retail for 249 Euro + tax when it becomes available.
