Who's Bad 2: a Michael Jackson Tribute Event with DJ Jon Quick

New York, NY, June 22, 2011 --(PR.com)-- June 25th 2011 will mark the two year anniversary of Michael Jackson's untimely passing. On Friday June 24th afterwork, for the 2nd year in a row, Jon Quick Select Events and the Superfriendz plan to celebrate his life in music for the 2nd year in a row.

"Who's Bad 2: A Michael Jackson Tribute Event with DJ Jon Quick will feature the music of the King of Pop and the entire Jackson family. The event will be held at Taj II, located at West 21st between 5th/6th Aves, NYC.

Doors open from 6-11pm. Free admission before 7pm. 10.00 after 7pm with rsvp to icons@djjonquick.com. Partial door proceeds go to The Hip Hop Loves Foundation's Children's Workshops.

Music provided by The Superhero - DJ Jon Quick (Music Choice's Mixtape and Throwback Jamz Channels) & Kim Thompson - Grammy Nominated drummer and former member of Beyonce's all girls band, The Suga Mamas.

"I'm just one of those DJs who refuse to let great music be forgotten," said Jon Quick, the DJ and organizer of the event. "Michael Jackson was unlike any other artist that ever walked the planet and should be remembered as an amazing vocalist, dancer and most of all, humanitarian. That's why we are donating partial proceeds to the Hip Hop Loves Foundation's Children's Workshops. I believe if Michael was alive today, he'd be happy with that decision."
