Howard Alan Events Presents 3rd Annual Downtown Frisco Art Fair
Denver, CO, June 23, 2011 --(PR.com)-- An abundance of color, a myriad of mediums and the country’s leading artists characterize Frisco’s premier juried summer Green art event. The 3rd Annual Downtown Frisco Green Art Festival, slated for July 2 - 3, 2011, returns to Main Street and will transform this popular retail and dining destination into a first rate outdoor art gallery featuring original paintings, life size sculptures, photography, glass, wood, jewelry, collage and ceramics with prices ranging from $25 hand-designed earrings to $20,000 metal sculptures. Admission is free and open to the public.
This two day green art fair allows each artist to showcase one piece of art created in an environmentally sound process. The artist must incorporate either recycled or repurposed objects into their work. The featured green artwork should serve to inspire and encourage environmentally friendly practices that will not only benefit the community but our ecosystem.
“This show is quickly becoming as popular as our more established festival in August, locals and tourists return to our shows each season,” says festival promoter Howard Alan. “This is an ideal setting for art enthusiasts to explore the work of new and emerging talent in one location, they have the opportunity to make a personal connection with the artist before making a purchase, which makes the investment more meaningful.”
The artists, juried by an independent panel of expert judges and hand selected from hundreds of applicants based on quality and diversity, will be on site for the duration of the art show available to discuss their art and inspiration. All of their artwork is original and handmade in America.
The Downtown Frisco Art Festival appeals to people of all ages including families, art enthusiasts and serious art buyers looking to add to their collections. The artists will line Downtown Frisco along Main Street and 3rd with their gallery style booths.
