Mt. Lebanon United Presbyterian Church (Pittsburgh, PA) Holds Del McCoury Concert (July 14) to Benefit At-Risk Children and Youth
The Mt. Lebanon United Presbyterian Church (MLUPC) will hold its annual mission project – Mission: Possible – the week of July 10th. This year’s featured event will be held Thursday July 14th hosting the nationally known bluegrass legend Del McCoury Band live in concert. Proceeds go to "Urban Impact Ministries" working to change one person, one family, and one block at a time as well as the "Brookline Blvd Presbyterian Youth Mentoring Program" to benefit at-risk children and youth.
Mt. Lebanon, PA, June 23, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Mt. Lebanon United Presbyterian Church (MLUPC) in Pittsburgh, PA will hold its annual mission project – Mission: Possible – the week of July 10th. This year’s featured event will be held Thursday July 14th hosting the nationally known Del McCoury Band live in concert.
Tickets are $20.00 general admission, all ages, and can be purchased online at www.mlupc.org. Limited tickets will be sold at the door. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m., doors open at 6:30.
“We have the potential to raise thousands of dollars for ministries that serve the less fortunate and vulnerable at-risk children and youth, all in the name of Christ,” explains Rev. Steve Aguzzi, MLUPC Associate Pastor.
“The Grammy award winning Del McCoury Band has played to audiences numbering in the several thousands, with ticket prices nearly double that of the MLUPC July 14th event. Hosting a band like bluegrass legend Del McCourt at affordable ticket prices makes this a great family event and gives the community a chance to participate in really great cause,” concludes Rev. Aguzzi.
