MiniCo Insurance Agency Adds Aspen American Insurance Company for Alternative Self Storage Industry Solution
Phoenix, AZ, June 27, 2011 --(PR.com)-- MiniCo Insurance Agency, LLC, today announced that it has signed an agreement with Aspen American Insurance Company, a subsidiary of Aspen Insurance Holdings Limited, to be an additional carrier for MiniCo’s specialty insurance programs for the self-storage industry. Aspen American Insurance Company will begin underwriting coverage effective July 1, 2011, in several states with plans to roll out additional states throughout the remainder of 2011.
MiniCo President and CEO Mike Schofield commented, “MiniCo’s longtime underwriting partnership with Liberty Agency Underwriters remains strong and will continue. Our new relationship with Aspen American Insurance Company will broaden our appetite allowing MiniCo’s insurance programs to be a viable option to a greater number of self-storage locations. Agents can expect to see enhancements with the new carrier including flood coverage, improved wind and hail deductible options, and expanded geographic and peril support.”
