Motorcycle Riding Concepts of Fairfax and Dumfries, VA Announces New Web Site to Enroll Motorcycle Rider Training Students
Virginia motorcycle school launches course registration web site.
Merrifield, VA, June 26, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Virginia motorcycle rider training company Motorcycle Riding Concepts (MRC, saddleupVA.com) announced it launched a new version of SaddleupVa.com to more easily enroll motorcycle rider students. "The new site lets prospective students view, reserve and pay for their courses," Motorcycle Riding Concepts CIO Jesse Bowman said. "Students can use the site to sign up for the Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic Rider Course (MSF BRC). The foundation course is Virginia-DMV-approved, meaning graduates get their motorcycle driver permit."
To obtain a Virginia motorcycle driver's license the student must pass a written and driving test. Students who complete MRC's Basic Rider Course receive a Virginia DMV Completion Certificate and an MSF Completion Card. The certificates grant students the right to drive their motorcycle for 30 days after receipt. Riders turn in the certificates at the Virginia DMV to get their Virginia "M" endorsement on their Virginia Driver's License.
MRC offers individual, beginner, advanced and expert motorcycle training. Bowman says that MRC courses help students get their motorcycle riding licenses, but that SaddleupVA.com training emphasizes safety first. MRC's instructors are all police motorcycle officers. "Motorcycle riders who receive initial formal training are less likely to be involved in a preventable crash," said Bowman. "Our students will benefit from our instructors who ride motorcycles in all types of weather and traffic conditions, for a living."
MRC was started in 2004 by 5 active duty police motorcycle officers who work in a large metropolitan area. Courses that are offered and tailored to meet the student needs include new rider, advanced, expert and individual motorcycle training. "Our motorcycle training gives you skills in braking, curve negotiation and collision obstacle avoidance. Successful completion of our Basic Rider Course will earn our students their Virginia Motorcycle endorsement. Our other course offerings are intended to build upon the basic fundamentals and help riders to become more proficient and enhance their safety on the road.
