SAFE Haven’s “Feed the Mind, Feed the Body” Sale
Raleigh, NC, June 27, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Safe Haven for Cats, located at the corner of Garvey Drive and Durant Road in North Raleigh, will be holding a Schwan’s Truckload Sale and book sale from 11 am to 4 pm on Saturday, July 16.
The Schwan’s truck will be onsite from 12 noon to 3 pm that day. Many of the Schwan’s frozen foods products will be on sale to the public. To select frozen food in advance from their entire catalog, please go to the Schwan’s website at http://www.schwansfundraising.com/orderForm.aspx to place your order. Please Use Code 35207. You may also contact SAFE Haven for Cats at info@safehavenforcats.org to request an order form be sent to you or contact any volunteer of SAFE Haven to view the catalog and place an order. SAFE Haven will receive 20% of all items and gift cards ordered in advance, and any items purchased on the day of the event.
SAFE Haven will also hold a book sale from 11 am to 4 pm. There will be a large variety of books, books on tape/CD, and other items. All of these items have been donated to SAFE Haven, and 100% of the proceeds of the book sale will go to the shelter to aid their mission.
About SAFE Haven for Cats and SAFE Care Feline Spay/Neuter Clinic
SAFE Haven is the Triangle’s authentic no-kill feline shelter. The mission is to rescue 500 abandoned, neglected and abused cats every year and adopt them into enduring homes. The SAFE Care Clinic sterilizes 1,500 cats yearly, providing low-cost services for stray, feral and owned cats in the Triangle.
All cats and kittens at SAFE Haven receive the following prior to adoption: Sterilization, a Rabies vaccine, Distemper vaccines, testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV, treatment for fleas, intestinal parasites and ear mites, a thorough examination by a veterinarian, and a microchip including registration with a national registry (AKC).
