TFI Envision, Inc. Designs "A Life Shaped by Combat"

Greenwich, CT, June 27, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Many people imagine writing a book about their life experiences, but very few actually make the time and commitment to do so. TFI Envision had the pleasure of working with 2 extraordinary individuals on a new book called “A Life Shaped By Combat.” This book is a collaboration between father and daughter, Major Robert H. Mueller - U. S. Air Force Retired, and Leslie Mueller of Greenwich, CT based Leslie Mueller Design.

What had begun over sixty years ago in WWII has been carefully woven into a story of courage, laughter, faith and learning. Major Mueller’s wealth of experience as a bomber pilot during WWII, with 31 missions, prepared him for 20 years at Sears Roebuck and Co., starting out selling washing machines and rising to the position of international buyer for the automotive division during its heyday, and becoming CEO of 3 different companies. A decorated pilot and recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal with 5 Clusters and 5 Battle Stars for major air engagements, makes him an expert in an elite group of individuals who were dedicated to God and country and whose lives were shaped by combat.

“If I could do it, you too can learn to conquer fears and handle greater responsibilities than you ever thought possible, and become a leader,” said Major Mueller.

Leslie Mueller worked with her father to edit the stories he had written over the years, finding appropriate imagery by combing through his photo archives, and then working with TFI Envision to create a book that flows easily. The flag painting on the front cover is by New York artist, Lynn Mara.
