Core Systems Announces Today that it Has Won a Contract to Provide Canadian Scientific Submersible Facility Integrated 2U and 1U Rack Mount Systems

San Diego, CA, March 22, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Core Systems announces today that it has won a contract to provide Canadian Scientific Submersible Facility integrated 2U and 1U rack mount systems using Core Systems R2-2001 and R1-2101 integrated enclosures. The systems provided by Core Systems will upgrade the control consoles of the ROPOS Remotely operated vehicle (ROV). The main goal is scientific exploration of the oceans while using Core Systems computers to operate the sonar processor, video overlay system, vehicle health monitoring systems and navigation system.

The ROPOS system has been upgraded significantly to better meet the existing and upcoming demands of the international scientific community. Three key areas have been targeted: Launch and recovery, data telemetry and navigation.
