Armenian Jewelers Association Raises Funds with Pre-Fashion Week Jewelry Runway Show
Charitable Organization Comprised of Leading Armenian Jewelry Designers Comes Together for a Good Cause
Los Angeles, CA, March 21, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Armenian Jewelers Association, a charitable organization comprised of leading Armenian-American Jewelry Designers, have announced today that they have raised over $100,000 dedicated to their various charitable causes with their debut jewelry runway show held on March 11, 2007 at the Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles.
Attended by the Who’s Who of the elite jewelry community and celebrities such as actress Bai Ling, international recording star Blu Cantrell, FOX “24’s” Roger Cross among numerous others, the attendees of this black tie banquet affair were treated to a runway show featuring jewelry from 10 Armenian Designers including Giantto Designer Jewelry, Haytayan Jewelers, Inc., Varna Platinum, Media Imports, Kirkara, Von Dutch Watches, Luxiriator/Franco, Inc., Simon G. Jewelry, Oro Diamante, and Siera Jewelry.
The Armenian Jewelers Association was created in order to establish a Worldwide Armenian Jewelry Network and to help develop the jewelry industry in Armenia. The purpose of AJA is to draw on its Armenian heritage and the diverse entrepreneurial and business strengths and experience of its members in order to increase communication and cooperation between Armenian jewelers, to advance Armenian jewelry manufacturing, trade and commerce throughout the world, to enhance the professional image, promote the interests and assist in the development and expansion throughout the world of Armenian jewelry business.
Part of the proceeds from the event will go to an Educational relief fund set up to help encourage youth and to provide them with the valued support they need to get through school and to get a start in a more than successful profession.
