Brian H. Bergh, D.D.S., M.S. Receives Second Talk of the Town Customer Satisfaction Award
Earning a top rating of 5 stars leads to a second consecutive CMUS Talk of the Town Customer Satisfaction Award for Orthodontist Brian H. Bergh, D.D.S., M.S.
Glendale, CA, June 30, 2011 --(PR.com)-- For the second consecutive year, Brian H. Bergh, D.D.S., M.S. has earned the Talk of the Town Customer Satisfaction Award, jumping from a 4-star rating in 2010 to a 5-star rating in 2011 in the Orthodontists category.
The award, presented by Talk of the Town News, Customer Care News magazine and Celebration Media, honors companies and professionals that provide excellent customer service as reported by their customers through no-cost, user-review websites, blogs, social networks, business rating services, and other honors and accolades. This data is analyzed by a team of researchers and converted into a star rating; only those that receive a 4-star to 5-star rating receive the Talk of the Town Customer Satisfaction Award.
Dr. Bergh and his staff have been serving patients since 1992, when he purchased an existing practice initially established in Glendale in 1960 by another orthodontist. In 1994 he purchased another nearby practice and combined the two, eventually moving to a new location in 1996 to meet patients’ needs.
State-of-the-art technology and a warm, comforting office environment are two of the elements that set the practice apart. Dr. Bergh was the first orthodontist in Glendale to be certified with Invisalign, a revolutionary system that uses a series of clear, removable and comfortable aligners that no one can tell the patient is wearing; and his office was also the first in Glendale to offer digital photographs and X-rays. Today, Dr. Bergh is an Elite Preferred Provider for Invisalign, putting him in the top one percent of Invisalign providers worldwide.
Providing customer service to patients starts with the office atmosphere. “We can talk a lot about a patient’s expectations, what we need to accomplish and the treatment plan we will need to create a healthy, stable bite. But the little things, the environment, are important as well,” says Dr. Bergh. “Kids and adults love to come to our office because our friendly staff interacts with them and there is a TV on the ceiling above each chair and we give them a remote control. So they’re occupied while we are working on them.”
Building relationships with patients is also a key to providing excellent customer service, according to Dr. Bergh. “Excellent customer service means making each of our patients and their families feel that they are important to us, that they are the reason for our existence, and that we appreciate that they help us to accomplish our goals and desires, too,” he says.
“Our goal is to make each of our patients smile at least once during their day, and to be a positive part of their life,” says Dr. Bergh. “By greeting them by name in the office, to remembering their birthdays, to helping them remember their commitment to orthodontic treatment, we can make a positive impact on their lives, hopefully lasting a lifetime.”
Dr. Bergh is also committed to serving the community outside his practice. “Our mission is to change the world, one beautiful smile at a time,” he says. “Providing community support through a local children’s community benefit organization called Glendale Healthy Kids, we have provided free orthodontic treatment to more than 30 children during the past 16 years. When you can change a child’s life by giving them one of the most valuable assets — a beautiful and healthy smile — you have affected a positive change in the community and the world.”
Dr. Bergh’s practice is located at 1111 N. Brand Blvd., Ste. 201 in Glendale. For more information, contact the office at 818-242-1173 or online at www.bracesbybergh.com.
