Linda Craft & Luxury Home Marketing Group Talk Surfaces & Countertops as Enhancements at June Gathering
Raleigh, NC, July 01, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Luxury Home Marketing Group discussed how surfaces and countertops help highlight living-space in homes during their June meeting. The group met at Raleigh-based Design Surfaces, where owner Ken Fiorini discussed how various types of surfaces can enhance the presentation in Elite Homes.
“Members of our group are frequently called on by our clients to make recommendations about smart, cost-effective enhancements to help a home show better,” said LHMG Vice-President Linda Craft. “Ken toured us through a variety of countertop surfaces including recycled-materials, solid-surface, polished stone and granite. Each has its appeal, and cost to benefit point.”
For example, Fiorini told the group about how the price of Granite has come down in recent months. However, he also detailed how recycled-surfaces, while popular because of exposure in media like HGTV programming, remain beyond the price range of most homeowners.
The group also toured homes in Wake Forest and North Raleigh during the June meeting.
President Kathy Beacham, Secretary Jill Rekuc of Olde Raleigh Real Estate, LLC, Treasurer Shawn Britt of Realty World-Triangle Living and Past-President Kimberly Conroy complete the 2011 executive board. Steina DeAndrade, Brenda Holden, Linda Kolarov, Linda Lee and Deborah Nance are also in the group’s 2011 membership. The group was formed in 2004 as a coalition of luxury home real estate experts, representing luxury home buyers and sellers with extraordinary real estate expertise and service in Raleigh, Cary, Wake Forest, Durham, Chapel Hill, Research Triangle Park and surrounding counties.
