Laura Ortoleva Receives Distinguished Achievement Award for RE/MAX Branding Strategy in Northern Illinois Real Estate Market

The Distinguished Achievement Award is one of the most prestigious awards given by RE/MAX and it is only given when an honoree of special merit earns it. This marks the second time the award has been given by the RE/MAX Northern Illinois network since it was founded in 1977.
As the network’s Communications Strategist, Ortoleva’s goal has been to increase RE/MAX brand name awareness in northern Illinois. She has done so through a variety of sophisticated marketing strategies and tactics. The result of her efforts is that RE/MAX holds the highest level of unaided brand name awareness among consumers in the Chicago area.
Ortoleva serves as the region’s liaison to the press. She arranges interviews for editors and reporters with RE/MAX agents and officials for in-depth news stories, and is responsible for ensuring the press is aware of trends, network milestones, achievements, announcements and successes. She is also the network’s representative for Children’s Memorial Hospital, the organization’s charity.
At the awards ceremony, Ortoleva was praised for her professionalism, leadership and strategy.
Ortoleva credits her success to education, experience and corporate culture. “I was fortunate enough to be able to attend the University of Illinois in Champaign where I received a B.A. in Psychology and an M.S. in Communications. Upon graduating, I was able to able to apply my skills for a variety of Fortune 500 clients before I joined RE/MAX. I am lucky to work with the best agents and real estate organization in the industry. It really makes my job very easy,” said Ortoleva.
