Seth Kahan Leads Seminar on “Creating Events to Bring You Clients” for DC Consultants
Innovative leadership specialist and organizational consultant, Seth Kahan, led a free lunch and learn seminar for independent consultants at Chef Tony’s, Bethesda, MD, sharing techniques for successful event planning to engage CEOs and Executive Directors.
Bethesda, MD, July 02, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Seth Kahan led a 90-minute training session, “Seth Kahan on Consulting: Creating Events to Bring You Clients” on Tuesday, June 21 at Chef Tony’s Restaurant in Bethesda, MD. There were more than 15 independent consultants and entrepreneurs in attendance.
Kahan, a successful consultant in the Washington, DC area, has worked with over 100 leaders of private sector organizations, government agencies, and associations. He speaks at 10-25 conferences a year, working with organizers using his theater background, to create special events that stimulate and inspire attendees.
Kahan shared his event planning experience to a room full of DC consultants on how to successfully attract and engage valuable clients. Session topics covered strategies and tactics to create events, including discussion on the 1) four elements of an extraordinarily successful event; 2) design and logistical execution; 3) delivering value with impact; and 4) follow-up that leads to engagements. A reference sheet was provided to all attendees to take back to the office and put to immediate use.
Kahan says, “I am building a community of DC consultants who will provide each other the kind of support that has been instrumental to my success. To date, I’ve had four lunch and learn seminars with more than 100 people in attendance. We’ve networked and shared knowledge on business strategy, growing your practice, earning what you’re worth and more. I believe these gatherings create collective support that turns great entrepreneurs into world-class practitioners. If you are a consultant looking to excel, join us,” says Kahan.
