Learn to Become a Television, Magazine, and Celebrity Photo Shoot Stylist from an Industry Leader

Atlanta, GA, July 03, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Celebrity Stylist Tajuana Hughes will be the guest speaker for the July Atlanta Natural Hair Care Professional business breakfast being held on July 25, 2011 from 10am to 12pm at Mojito restaurant located inside of Hotel Midtown. She will talk about what tools and knowledge are needed to survive as a stylist for beauty shows, television, magazines, and celebrity photo shoots. Stylist Tajuana Hughes has been doing hair for over fifteen years, working with Tyler Perry artists, Def Jam Recording artists, and on the sets of the MTV’s My Sweet Sixteen and the BET Awards Show. Her work has made her a leading stylist in the entertainment and beauty industry.

Tajuana Hughes is also an educator, having taught natural hair care classes at numerous hair shows including the Bronner Brothers International Beauty Show, the World Natural Hair Health and Beauty Show, her own Stars Weaving and Replacement Academy. Stars Weaving and Replacement Academy classes are designed to increase stylists’ overall understanding of natural hair and provide them with tools and credentials that will allow them to command greater compensation for their services. When asked about being an educator and speaking at the ANHC Pro breakfast, Tajuana Hughes says, “I want to provide stylists with the tools and information that I wish I had when I started on beauty show platforms and in the entertainment industry.”

Atlanta Natural Hair Care Professional’s monthly business breakfast is for salons, stylists, barbers, and students who specialize in or are interested in natural hair care. The breakfast serves as a place for professionals to meet and learn about ideas, products, services, issues, and events that are relevant to the natural hair care industry. It includes of a breakfast buffet, a 30-45 minute presentation from the guest speaker and 30 minutes of open discussion leaving time afterwards for networking.
