Lodi, CA, July 04, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Teacher/Writer Releases First Horror Novel.

A high school in Northern California is the setting for Bloom’s Desk, the debut novel by Jeffrey Littorno who happens to be a high school teacher himself. Littorno’s fictional counterpart is Glen Davis, a young, enthusiastic teacher at a Northern California high school who finds his life intertwined with the spirit of a long dead serial killer. As Davis fights to regain his freedom from the grip of the dead, he is forced to confront many questions. Not the least of which are questions regarding his own sanity.

In addition to having taught English in Northern California and abroad, Jeffrey Littorno has always been attracted to the horror genre in both books and movies. “Even from a young age, I can remember gathering around the television every Friday night for Creature Features with Bob Wilkins. I think I still have an autographed picture of him around here somewhere.” Littorno’s enthusiasm for horror has resulted in Bloom’s Desk published through the online marketplace Lulu.com as well as the novel upon which he is currently working which also includes elements of the supernatural.

Jeffrey Littorno lives in Lodi, California with his wife and an ever-growing number of cats. He is available for comment at 559-260-8977 or JLittorno@Hotmail.com.

Bloom's Desk is available in paperback and Kindle at Lulu.com, Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com, as well as other sites.
