Michael Riddle Promoted to VP (Advanced Wound Care) at MediPurpose
Atlanta, GA, July 06, 2011 --(PR.com)-- MediPurpose, a master distributor and manufacturer of medical products, today announced Michael Riddle as its vice president of advanced wound care products.
The promotion is the first for Riddle at MediPurpose. He joined the medical product company in October 2010 as director of its then new advanced wound care division.
The advanced wound care division was created in June 2010 as part of MediPurpose’s new business development initiative to expand product lines that leverage their award-winning medical product distribution services and logistics capabilities.
Since joining MediPurpose, Riddle has been responsible for overseeing the introduction of MediPlus, a comprehensive line of high quality, competitively priced advanced wound care products.
MediPlus enjoyed a successful debut at the 24th Annual Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC) in Dallas last May, and again received favorable reception at the 43rd WOCN Annual Conference in New Orleans earlier this month.
In addition to developing the strategy and tactics required to successfully launch the still expanding advanced wound care product portfolio, Riddle has been responsible for identifying, evaluating and sourcing synergistic technologies. He has been working with cross-functional teams and consultants to manage all essential tasks related to bringing a comprehensive wound care product line to market, including quality, regulatory, marketing, packaging, and reimbursement.
“Riddle’s swift and significant contribution to MediPlus was not unexpected,” said MediPurpose founder and CEO Patrick Yi. “Michael’s experience from previous senior management and operational roles helped to achieve this in a relatively short time frame,” said Yi. “His knowledge of medical product development and sourcing will continue to facilitate the identification and addition of adjunctive products to the portfolio.”
