Balfour Resource Group Adds to Team
Seven new employees added in the past six months to complement equipment and transition planning services.
Nashville, TN, July 08, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Balfour Resource Group, a leading healthcare equipment, technology and transition planning service firm, is pleased to announce the addition of seven new employees in the past six months.
Jonathan Coombs brings 10 years of experience working in the medical equipment planning and engineering fields to Balfour Resource Group in his role as Implementation Manager. Jonathan has worked with numerous healthcare and research facilities throughout the U.S. including equipment planning and procurement for hospitals, rehabilitation facilities and university research labs. Jonathan also brings an engineering perspective to his role as he has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and began his career as a Highway Engineer after graduating from Western Kentucky University. Jonathan will work out of the Nashville, Tenn., office location.
Brian Mallady brings 26 years of active duty service in the United States military to BRG. While serving as a Navy Captain and with US Central Command, Brian was responsible for providing contracting policy and guidance for military, civilian, and contractor personnel operating in the Middle East on behalf of the government. He supported Operations Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. One of his more unique assignments while in the military was as Supply Officer and Comptroller at Camp David for President George H.W. Bush. Brian will serve as Director of Government Services for BRG, overseeing all government projects. He will be based in Dallas, Texas.
Philip Rolen joins BRG as Revit/BIM Planner in the Nashville, Tenn., office. Philip has spent much of his career, since graduating from Tennessee Technological University, working with architectural design software including multiple BIM platforms and Sketchup. His 11 years of experience includes project management, modeling and building design. Philip provides Balfour Resource Group’s medical equipment planning clients with BIM/Revit capabilities. Philip is currently supporting BRG and the Balfour Beatty/McCarthy design-build team on the Darnall Army Hospital Project at Fort Hood, where all medical equipment layout drawings are being created in a Revit Model format.
Tara Murrell joins the firm as Senior Manager, Initial Outfitting & Transition (IO&T). Tara has more than 20 years experience in design and construction and has spent the last three years dedicated to supporting Initial Outfitting Contracts. Her focus will be on providing IO&T services to BRG’s military contracts including Langley Air Force Base Hospital in Langley, Va.
Michael W. Jackson, Jr., joined BRG after more than three years at Universal Hospital Services in Arlington, Texas and more than seven years in the U.S. Army. Mike brings his expertise installing and testing equipment for clinics and healthcare facilities to his current role as a medical equipment planner. He is also a member of the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation.
Rebecca Baldwin, LEED AP, recently joined BRG as Marketing Coordinator, based in Nashville, Tenn. In this role, Rebecca will oversee all marketing efforts including responding to requests for proposals, preparing presentations, managing the business website, generating press releases, and developing other marketing collateral. Rebecca was recently employed at Gresham, Smith and Partners as a Healthcare Pursuit Team Leader.
Clifford A. Schroeder, III, CHFM recently joined BRG as a Transition Planner. Cliff has more than 20 years experience in the healthcare industry as a transition planner, facilities director, and project manager for construction projects. Prior to his healthcare experience, Cliff was a Major in the U.S. Army Engineers in the Missouri Army National Guard. During his military career, he provided leadership and training for platoons, companies and battalions of personnel in construction projects and was responsible for overseeing various horizontal construction activities. Recently, Cliff led more than $50,000,000 worth of construction for the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach, Fla.
