Bibliotastic.com Launches New Competition for Ebook Reviews
Bibliotastic.com is running a competition for reviews of its free ebooks. First prize of an Amazon Kindle 3G will go to the most insightful comment/review.
New York, NY, July 08, 2011 --(PR.com)-- For the second time this year bibliotastic.com is running a competition for reviews of the free ebooks on its site. First prize of an Amazon Kindle 3G will go to the most insightful comment/review. 10 runners up will get a bibliotastic T-shirt. The deadline for submissions is July 31.
Bibliotastic co-founder Bernard Gerard noted "Authors write to be read, they crave feedback and encouraging the public to comment on their work is our way of thanking the authors for publishing with us."
The competition follows a similar one held that finished in March. The winner of that competition wrote on Mike Dufort’s dog training manual, ‘Courteous Canines’. Discussing the winning review Mike wrote: “This comment is my payment, nothing more is needed. I'm currently writing a sequel, which I will also give away for free.”
In the words of bibliotastic author Chuck Sampson: "Whether or not a writer receives reviews may determine whether or not they continue writing. Even negative feedback is better than no feedback. At least it's an opportunity to learn." And as one bibliotastic user, Tonto, wrote "It's a real bonus to be part of commenting on up and coming writers."
