Solar Seminars Awarded Accreditation for PV 101

Bakersfield, CA, July 07, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Solar Seminars, Inc. has just received accreditation for PV 101, an entry-level course of solar photovoltaic installation. This accreditation is offered by the industry leader, the Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC), after a rigorous, six month review that assessed not only the program’s curriculum, but also the administration, facilities, hardware, faculty, and safety practices used by Solar Seminars.

IREC explains that, “This framework ensures legitimacy of what’s being taught and by whom. Well-trained energy efficiency and renewable energy practitioners mean better, safer installations, lower costs and increased consumer confidence.”

Solar Seminars is one of only five programs to receive full Training Program Accreditation for an entry level solar PV course in the first half of 2010.

Solar Seminars offers PV 101 both in a Traditional, five-day classroom format as well as an innovative Blended format – a combination of online learning and hands on installation practice.
