The "Pointers for Parents" Seminar Series will deal with the many aspects of special needs students. Topics featured include: Interventions for Communications & Behavior for the Autism Spectrum, Link Between Adaptive PE & Cognitive Development, Obtaining Maximum Services Using an I.E.P., Positive Home & School Connection, Behavior Management Techniques, Using Neuro-Linguistic Programming to Improve Cognitive Abilities.
Tours and interviews will be conducted by the speakers – ESE Curriculum Supervisor, Director of ESE Services, Behavior and Guidance Specialist, Educational & Behavioral Specialist, and Featuring Oronde Gadsden (#86 Miami Dolphins) Westlake Athletic Director.
