Chatham Street Cafe to Participate In 2011 Cary Cross Currents Chamber Music and Arts Festival
Restaurant Opens Doors Early July 8 to Celebrate Local Festival.

Chatham St., has announced that the restaurant is a participant in the 2011 Cary Cross Currents Chamber Music and Arts Festival being held through Sunday, July 17 at the Cary Arts Center, located at 908 N. Harrison Ave., and other select locations. The restaurant will offer a special 5 p.m. open time to celebrate the Friday, July 8 Side-by-Side performance by the Brussels Chamber Orchestra and advanced local students selected by audition. Visitors may stop for dinner anytime before the 7 p.m. performance, or afterward for a late night snack, glass of wine or coffee and dessert.
The Cross Currents Chamber Music and Arts Festival offers a mix of concerts featuring the Brussels Chamber Orchestra and special collaborators. It includes a weeklong Side-by-Side experience for excellent local high school string players, free open rehearsals, special showings of Cary Visual Arts’ “Home Sweet Cary,” a moment to “Meet the Musicians” at Quail Ridge Books and Music, and an innovative Drawing to the Music program.
