About Farrell’s
Started by Robert “Bob” Farrell in 1963, Farrell’s is a step back in time over 100 years to an old-time ice cream parlour. Farrell’s is known for its delicious ice cream and food concoctions, oversized portions, and rowdy but fun party atmosphere. At it’s height, Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlours had approximately 130 locations nation wide. After its sale in 1985 to an investment group, the Farrell’s concept was changed and by early 1990’s and all the Farrell’s restaurants nationwide were closed. In 2001, Orange County, CA based, Parlour Enterprises Inc revived the original Farrell’s concept envisioned by Bob Farrell and began moving ahead with the reopening Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlors. Farrell’s currently has two locations open, The Shops at Mission Viejo, 779 Shops Blvd. Mission Viejo, Ca. 92691 and in Mountasia Family Fun Center in Santa Clarita, 21516 Golden Triangle Road, Santa Clarita, Ca. 91350. Farrell’s will announce two new locations opening in 2011 soon.
