Southwest Institute of Healing Arts Set to Hold Their Mind Body Wellness Conference for Holistic Healing
Southwest Institute Of Healing Arts (SWIHA) will be holding their first ever Mind Body Wellness Conference this end of July, for professional holistic healers and anyone interested in learning about holistic healing techniques.
Tempe, AZ, July 09, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Southwest Institute of Healing Arts (SWIHA) is hosting their Mind Body Wellness Conference 2011 for practicing Holistic Healers or anyone interested in learning more. Per their flyer, this conference is intended to teach participants “how to integrate a variety of holistic techniques into everyday lifestyle and to broaden their scope of practice.” The Mind Body Wellness Conference 2011 will be held July 30 and July 31, 2011. Lisa Richards, Director of the SWIHA Success Center says, “Participants will learn to improve their clients’ response to healing, discover new tools to enhance their own health and that of their clientele, and build their professional network, among many other tips, tools, and techniques.” The conference includes morning yoga meditation, AM and PM workshops, lunch, and vendors.
Topics of the conference will be focusing on: the cancer epidemic – how to avoid it and how to get rid of it using natural approaches; the benefits of integrating different modalities into your everyday lifestyle and creating more results for your clientele; integrating breath work and meditation into everyday life; herbs for preventing various illnesses; and diagnostic tools for a healthy lifestyle. The keynote speaker is said to be Dr. Paul Mittman, Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Mittman will be speaking on the benefits of holistic integration. Featured speakers include: Dr. Allen Chips, National Assoc. of Therapeutic Hypnosis; Dr. Henele E’ale, Genesis Healing Center; Kathleen Gould, Southwest Herbs; and a representatives from Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine & Acupuncture.
The Post-Conference on July 31st provides participants the choice of one all day workshop. Dr. Allen Chips’ workshop will be an Ericksonian Certification course designed to train professional Hypnotherapists advanced techniques, and provides continuing education. “The opportunity to host Dr. Chips is amazing. We utilize his texts in our training, and are excited to bring him to our trained Hypnotherapists to learn first-hand from a leader in this profession,” says Lisa Richards. Kathleen Gould’s workshop is centered on creating and incorporating specific herbal blends into everyday life for optimal health. Lisa adds, “Kathleen is an amazing teacher of herbs, and has proven through her own business that herbal blends really do improve health and wellness.”
