South Bay Ballet’s Regina Park Suh to Dance with Sacramento Ballet

Fall 2011 marks Regina Park Suh's professional debut with Sacramento Ballet.

Torrance, CA, July 12, 2011 --(PR.com)-- South Bay Ballet, located in Torrance, California, announces Regina Park Suh has been invited to dance as a guest company member with Sacramento Ballet for the 2011 – 2012 season.

During the last two years, Park Suh has trained exclusively with Diane Lauridsen of Lauridsen Ballet Centre and Artistic Director of South Bay Ballet, and during the same time has been a senior company member of South Bay Ballet. Park Suh graduated from Kirov Academy of Ballet in 2004 and went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts in World Arts and Cultures from UCLA in 2008 to broaden her view and understanding of dance and arts.

“Since coming to Lauridsen Ballet Centre, I have grown as a dancer, a technician and an artist,” says Park Suh. “Diane and her senior staff helped me refine my technique and now I am so pleased to share my passion for ballet with audiences on a professional level. I look forward to my time with Sacramento Ballet.”

This year, Park Suh won acceptance and a full scholarship opportunity to Orlando Ballet’s summer intensive program, as well as partial scholarships from Milwaukee Ballet and Kansas City Ballet, and acceptance to Kaatsbaan International Dance Center.
