Author Mark Jones Wins Second Place at Southern Christian Writers Conference

Gordo, AL, July 13, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Author Mark Jones won Second Place at the Southern Christian Writers Conference held in Tuscaloosa, AL on June 10-11, 2011. The story that won this prestigious award for Fiction Writing was originally printed in the Times-Record, a newspaper in Fayette, AL. The winning story was titled "A Good and Kind Heart" that was later re-titled as "The Dance." To qualify, a story must have been published during the last year.

Author Mark Jones has since added "The Dance" to a collection of stories to comprise a book, "A Story Worth Telling…" - BEST SHORT STORIES - Volume 1, and has just been released in e-book Format to Amazon’s Kindle and to Barnes & Noble’s Nook. The traditional Hardcover and Paperback versions of this first book already had a five-star rating at Amazon.com.
