Flower Shop Takes a Chance on Las Vegas
The Dancing Dandelion Flower Shop opens its doors to the greater Las Vegas area.
Las Vegas, NV, July 13, 2011 --(PR.com)-- "Change is good!" says Las Vegas business owners the Forsberg Family, where they run The Dancing Dandelion Flower Shop, the newest Las Vegas florist.
Both of the Forsberg's have held nearly 20 year long careers in the financial and entertainment industries and are now forging ahead as a part of Las Vegas' floral industry.
"With the arrival of our new baby, we wanted to create a wholesome family business that we could share with our 3 children. We want to be able to pass something down. We strongly believe in entrepreneurship and self reliance and we want to give that gift to our kids. That is what America was built on."
Along side their talented and creative floral design and operational experience, The Dancing Dandelion also has a team of veteran expert designers that have spent years producing countless weddings and large events at the most prestigious hotel/casinos on the Las Vegas Strip.
"We have a incredible team. We are lean and mean, super efficient and on time. We will settle for nothing less than top notch product and in order to do that you have got to be surrounded by top notch people."
When asked if the dragging economy scares them in their choice to start a new niche retail business Forsberg says "Not at all. In some ways it has been helpful. Expenses related to the business tend to drop when business is slow and that has afforded us to launch a start-up much cheaper than during an economic boom.
"As far as being niche, a lot have people have really taken to the convenience of getting everything they need from the super-marts, all in one place. I am reminiscent of the days where you got your bread from the local bakery, your meat from the meat market and your flowers from the local florist. It may cost a few cents more to live that way but I think you get a better product when someone who is passionate about that product and studies that product makes it for you."
The Dancing Dandelion is located on Warm Springs Rd. at Durango, directly across the street from Glaziers Market. There is always a cooler full of beautiful arrangements and they deliver valley-wide. They also specialize in las vegas wedding flowers and large events.
