WebsynergiDesign’s 50+ Website Success
A new website design by WebsynergiDesign showcases the 50+ club’s achievements and demonstrates their appreciation of new technology whilst keeping members informed and attracting new members.
Birmingham, United Kingdom, July 14, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Sneh Sangaram 50+ Day Centre
Birmingham’s Sneh Sangam 50+ Day Centre is well known for its work in the local Gujarati Hindu community and felt the time had come to gain wider recognition through a website for their club.
A new website design would showcase the club’s achievements and demonstrate their appreciation of new technology whilst keeping members informed and attracting new members.
Furthering the aims of the club
With hundreds of members the 50+ club needed to be sure that all its activities are given the widest publicity and that the website is updated regularly to keep pace with new events.
The club aims to promote and further social, religious and educational activities and practices and to disseminate information as to its principles and precepts for the benefit of members. It is also dedicated to promoting equality and diversity in particular by promoting goodwill, harmony and brotherhood among the members and other fellow societies and associations established for the public’s benefit.
With the benefit of a website the club can be sure its aims and objectives are widely disseminated.
Community website design expertise
WebsynergiDesign has experience of designing community websites so was the ideal choice for the Club. WebsynergiDesign’s understanding of the constraints, practical aspects and interpersonal issues involved in working with community groups helped to steer the 50+ committee successfully through the website planning and decision making processes.
The Committee’s questions were dealt with in a straightforward way without the use of jargon and the features, number of pages, etc required for the website were fully discussed and explained so that the committee could make an informed choice about what to include.
Designing the website
Top priority had to go to a good, practical content management system so that the club’s activities, events, photos, awards and the like can be easily and quickly updated.
A straightforward, intuitive navigation system was another important aspect of the website’s functionality that WebsynergiDesign was careful to prioritise, ensuring that website visitors had a good experience when visiting the site and encouraging club members to use its facilities.
The design of the banner is sensitively related to a Gujarati theme and provides an attractive background to the web content.
WebsynergiDesign’s Chetan Naik said, “It is very satisfying to produce an attractive, functional website which will help to encourage the older generation to use the internet by giving them a good experience in terms of content and navigability. Whilst we are equally at home creating websites for entrepreneurs and corporates, this was a very worthwhile project.”
