Tortoise and Finch Productions Launches Kickstarter Campaign for the Domestic Violence Documentary, "You Look a Lot Like Me"

Boston, MA, July 15, 2011 --(PR.com)-- After four years in production, Tortoise and Finch has chosen to promote its extended trailer and Finishing Funds Campaign through the artistic fundraising platform Kickstarter.com.

The feature-length documentary, titled "You Look a Lot Like Me," focuses on raising awareness surrounding the issues of intimate partner violence and domestic abuse, and is scheduled to begin screening in late 2011. The film features in-depth interviews with those whose lives have been affected by domestic violence in their intimate relationships.

The Kickstarter campaign, which runs from July 12 - August 26, offers backers "rewards" in exchange for their donations, which can range from as little as $1.00 all the way up to $5,000.00. In addition to the project-related items being offered, the Tortoise and Finch campaign features many unique items from artists working in a variety of mediums.
