Bright Spectrum Announces the Release of Their Abandoned Cart Revenue Recovery Tool for the ASPDotNetStorefront Ecommerce Platform
Bright Spectrum, Inc releases Abandoned Cart Revenue Recovery tool for the AspDotNetStorefront ecommerce platform. Tool aims to increase the revenue of store owners by using automatic, customized re-marketing emails to entice visitors that have previously abandoned their cart during the checkout process to return to the store and complete their purchase.
Seattle, WA, July 19, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Today Bright Spectrum, Inc. released its newest product aimed at increasing revenue for ecommerce store owners running the AspDotNetStorefront ecommerce platform.
The Abandoned Cart Revenue Recovery tool does exactly what the name suggests; it attempts to recover revenue from abandoned cart visitors through automatic promotional emails. The emails consist of a coupon code, set by the store owner, and are only sent out after a cart has sat idle for a time specified by the store owner. One of the unique aspects of the tool is that it can be set to be product specific and allows store owners to set the priorities of their promotions.
Prior to release, the product was tested on several live web sites for a number of months. During that testing stage customers were shown to return to the various stores and complete their purchase at a rate of 25% within the first 24 hours of receiving the promotion and another 25% returned within 3 days to complete their purchase.
“It was important for us to produce a product that really focused on actually producing revenue for the store owners out there and we wanted to create something that every store, regardless of size, could use, benefit from and afford. We have been so dedicated to the AspDotNetStorefront platform for the last 8 years, and we just thought it was time to put an add-on out there that could show tangible, measurable results,” says Chidozie Bright, President and CEO of Bright Spectrum, Inc.
Along with the base Abandoned Cart Revenue Recovery tool, there is an additional reporting function (due out by August 1) that gives a complete tracking of the different promotions sent, when the customer returned, the amount of revenue that the customer brought in, and allows store owners to resend promotions that have not been responded to.
The Abandoned Cart Revenue Recovery Tool is available for purchase now at the Bright Spectrum website (http://shop.brightspectrum.net/) for all versions of AspDotNetStorefront ML8 and MultiStore.
