The Edgewater, Seattle, Earns IFWTWA Excellence Award in Hospitality
The International Food, Wine & Travel Writers Association's prestigious award recognizes the best of the best in hospitality around the world.
Diamond Bar, CA, July 20, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The International Food, Wine & Travel Writers Association's (IFWTWA) Excellence Awards program recognizes the world's finest travel and tourism industry professionals as experienced by the organization's journalist members. The Edgewater in Seattle, Washington, a Noble House Hotels & Resorts property, earned IFWTWA's Excellence Award in Hospitality for its outstanding amenities and exemplary guest services.
According to the IFWTWA member journalist who nominated The Edgewater for recognition: “What other hotel sits over the water with view rooms looking toward baseball and football stadiums? When you step on your balcony, its like being on a ship. And this is, after all, the hotel where the Beatles stayed...The room was done in pine like a cabin in the woods...a great place for happy hour with fresh sea food, wonderful staff. It just doesn’t get much better. When I am in Seattle, this will be my default spot.”
The award nomination was carefully evaluated and recommended by IFWTWA's Excellence Awards Committee and the award approved by IFWTWA's Board of Directors.
“As a winner of an IFWTWA Excellence Award, The Edgewater demonstrates the professional standards that represent the best in the hospitality industry,” said Maralyn Hill, IFWTWA President. “This Noble House property and others in its class set – and raise – the bar in the hospitality field worldwide.”
About IFWTWA: The International Food, Wine and Travel Writers Association (IFWTWA) is a global network of journalists who cover the hospitality and lifestyle fields, and the people who promote them.
