Revel Systems releases an iPad KDS with their iPad POS to help restaurants go green in the kitchen. The Kitchen Display System (KDS) has 3 modes: Kitchen View, Expedite View, Fryer view. This iPad KDS system displays food orders to chefs, provides feedback about the status of each order and captures service times for management reporting in the iPad Point of Sale System.

The Kitchen Display System is designed to increase efficiency and save paper. The iPad Kitchen Display System (KDS) has 3 modes: Kitchen View, Expedite View, Fryer view. This system displays food orders to chefs, provides feedback about the status of each order and captures service times for management reporting. The KDS provides a higher level of management control and customer service options.
Less hardware equals less cost, commonly used KDS systems require a flat panel display and a bump station. As each order is completed, the user can “touch” or delete the order from the queue by swiping their finger across the screen for the item of choice. While the kitchen view displays the items that need to be viewed, the expedite view is waiting for each item in the order to be completed.
