Birmingham, United Kingdom, July 21, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Good website design is never finished – there is always something to add for a dynamic website.
Interactive, Flash Map
The interactive, Flash map is a new feature on Birmingham Chamber of Commerce’s India Pakistan Trade Unit (IPTU) website. WebsynergiDesign have created a facility which allows India to be divided into its 28 States with comprehensive information available for all States and individual access to each.
“It was a challenge for us,” said Chetan Naik, WebsynergiDesign’s director, “It was a technically complex exercise with a very high profile. It is great to see it all coming to fruition, knowing how vital this information is to businesses.”
The launch of the new interactive Flash map pages took place at a prestigious conference at Birmingham’s (UK) Edgbaston Cricket Ground with Chetan Naik giving a presentation to an audience of VIPs to unveil the new features.
The New Map Features
There is a short demonstration video on the website itself demonstrating how to use the interactive feature which is also a direct link to the feature page.
The website, which is the gateway to Midland companies trading with India, receives thousands of hits per month and consists of over one hundred pages supplying key business information to give business people in the partner countries instant access to trading information at the click of a mouse, saving time and expense.
Looking at doing business in India is a vast undertaking given the complexities and differences that exist between one State and the next. IPTU commissioned this interactive section so that India can be looked at in terms of the individual States as opposed to the whole.
The India by state feature created by WebsynergiDesign on the IPTU website breaks down each State into four categories identified as being most important when looking into a new market.
Zahoor Ahmed from Gifts International said, “Researching Indian markets can be an arduous task at the best of times, the India by state feature is a great starting point for anyone looking to enter the Indian market with an in depth analysis of all 28 states. Best of all its free!”
